Yesterday was Mother’s Day and it was the 19^th I’ve celebrated without my mother. It’s funny, on the one hand it feels like a lifetime ago, but on the other, it feels like it was only yesterday. I guess time is funny that way. Most days, it’s sad to say but, I don’t even think about her. The day begins and ends and she hasn’t even come across my mind. Maybe that’s normal, I don’t know. I have to admit, it makes me sad.
